Magic DotP 2014 Multiplayer FFA #1-3 Mind Maze
Let's get this party started eh? 10 new decks, I'd like to play games with each but that could take awhile... and lots of games...
But you have to play a ton to know how you want to tweak the decks too, thats the catch-22 conundrum.
We're going to start off with Mind Maze... which currently is the deck I'm most keen on. I really like the Humans and Zombie decks a ton too.
Eventually though, I'd rather just use the "Choose Random Deck" function.
Unfortunately, it looks like the same curses from 2013 are upon us. I played for 3 hours today, recorded it all, narrated to myself the WHOLE TIME, and this video is all I have to show for it, to which half of it is very straightforward.
All the games I don't record are intricate and complex and nail bitingly fun. When I record for hours and hours I don't get a single piece of footage that is exciting, unique, or unusual and its rather sad.
Sealed will hopefully be on its way. Again, after 2 hours of Sealed every single game was 1-sided. One player didn't cast a single card until the game was over whether it was me or him. I'm not posting that crap.
I played a couple 2HG matches which ended the exact same way. They did nothing. We tapped Enter for a little bit and cruised. Sighhhhh
EDIT:
I have been informed by a good friend ZMT (ZeldaMasterTimmy2) that when a player leaves and is replaced by AI, his deck, cards in hand, and library change. The difference in Difficulty modes is not the computer making bad/good plays, but they actually have different decklists!
So when AI replaces the player, it automatically puts on the Planeswalker difficulty deck, to which those decks are much better than they should be and get amazing draws that they always seem to need.
This was true in 2013 as well, so its no surprise. It also explains why I lost. The guy probably DIDN'T have that 2nd land and quit, but then magically the AI gets it and beats me.
