I'm solving a Magic Octahedron on the gelatinbrain applet, but slowly (and without trying for efficiency), to show what I'm doing in more detail.
1) Build a face (like a 2x2x2 block in Petrus)
2) Build a second face (like the 2x2x3 block)
3) Bulid one of the last two faces
4) Edge permutation (commutators)
5) Edge orientation (commutators)
