A bare bones guide to understanding the Mana Curve and the likely-hood you'll get the card you want.

The part where I talk about cutting the chance of playing a card (by 1/3, 1/4, etc) is based on how many colors it requires in a two color deck. If it requires 1 Black and 2 White for example. Sorry for the confusion. The percentage is slightly different for adding extra colors, but is generally the same...around slim to no chance.
