This is a game I got from @IndieGamerChick
My primary criticism would be the lack of a resolution setting in game, it always runs at 1280x720. I had to run the game windowed.
The game originates from the Xbox Live Indie Games service, but the game is much better than the typical games released there.
I have a hard time comparing it to a specific titles, as there is some genre crossover. There are RPG elements, in that you gain levels, get new items and learn new spells (from the protagonist's cat none the less) but the game is an action driven platformer, similar to the later Wonder Boy games.
