In Hazbin Hotel the vast majority of the cast and side characters are designed base on animals or objects.

For example, Vaggie is a moth, Alastor is a deer, angel dust is a spider, husk is a cat, sir pentious is a snake, baxter is an anglerfish, the egg boys are eggs, Katie Killjoy is a mantis, Tom Trench is a gas mask, Vox is a TV, Valentino is a moth and Velvette is a doll.

But there is some exceptions to this, like Charlie and her parents, Niffty, Rosie, and Mimzy.
