Make A Game #7: Scripts, classes, and chain reactions VIDEO
This is a tutorial for how to make a game, aimed at absolute beginners! 4 things to know:
1. Here's the playlist of all the parts so far: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUtKzyIe0aB2HjpmBhnsHpK7ig0z7ohWw
2. We're using the free 'Standard' edition of Game Maker Studio 1.4 for Windows, which you can grab here: http://www.yoyogames.com/studio/download
3. If you're trying to follow this and it's not working, download the source code for this part from here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/368nuqqpg9lz1su/AADYdbXud4XM62v1Df1bb7Fta?dl=0
And open it in Game Maker. If it works, your code or game must be different somewhere. If it doesn't work, check you're using the version of Game Maker mentioned above.
4. I do about 2-4 episodes a week, whenever I have time, there's no more specific schedule than that.
