This is a tutorial for how to make a game, aimed at absolute beginners! Things to know:

1. This tutorial was made for Game Maker Studio 1, but sadly there's no longer a free version of that. You can still download it here (at time of writing) but will need some kind of license and I can't speak to price and availability: https://store.yoyogames.com/downloads/gm-studio/release-notes-studio.html (clicking the version number at the top)

Game Maker Studio 2 has a time-limited free trial, but a lot changed so parts of this tutorial may not apply/work. https://www.yoyogames.com/get
