A tutorial to tie in with Mario's Quest: this shows how I made the yellow star which is used in Mario's Quest. It's a simpler one this time, ideal for any of you who hadn't tried the others perhaps because you'd never sewn before.

Subtitles available in English or to translate into any language, as usual: Press the second button on the right, between this text and the video!

In fact, the most difficult part is creating a star-shaped template, because as you will see, I got this wrong and so my star wasn't even symmetrical! So the 'angle bisecting' trick at 1:34 was added in after I finished my star, to help you make the best shape possible.

I would like to ask: does the video move to quickly or too slowly for you, i.e. would you prefer it if I didn't speed up the video quite as much, or if I skipped some more bits out? Because it's tough to get this balance right.

FELT: can be found in most arts and crafts stores.

Next week: Mario's Quest - Part 2!
