Making a Dark Boom Bap Beat for Griselda from SCRATCH | FL Studio Cookup
218This is me making a dark boom bap beat from scratch in the style of Griselda, Westside Gunn, etc in FL Studio. I started with a bassline and then started making the melodies around that. I added a bunch of grimy sounding ear candy throughout the beat to give it texture. The drums for the beat came from my V4, V7, V8, and V9 stash drum kits, which are linked below.
