After becoming fascinated by Oculus Rift and then inspired by Google Cardboard virtual reality headsets, and lacking a phone with suitable gyros to try the google option, I decided to make my own headset using a 7" Android tablet (Tesco hudl) that I had knocking around.
I take you with me on a journey of exploration into VR design bodgery, discovering the many pitfalls when making something without the required equipment, or skill.
