Making a glowing Nuka Cola QuanTum bottle
I had this idea after watching a video by @MisoHungrie .
Check out his video if you want to see the original recipe of all the different Nuka Cola: • Making, Tasting, and Ranking Nuka Col...
Here I try to recreate the Nuka Cola QuanTum softdrink from the Fallout 3 game. According to the Fallout lore the Nuka Cola company used strontium-90 to give the QuanTum its blue glow, but in the real world this isotope does not glow and only gives you bone cancer due to its radioactivity and its ability to replace calcium in your bones.
In absence of any radioactive substance in my house, I use a non-radioactive substance in my recipe.

!!-Warning-!!
Befor you begin. I use a black light in this video, which is an ultraviolett (UV) emitting lamp. UV-rays are dangerous and you should try to point the UV-lamp away from your body as much as possible. Do not look into the UV-lamp.
I also use Tonic water which contains quinine. A quinine allergy is rare, but I want to point it out here.

Some notes:
I modified the recipe slightly. I did not have any limes and no citric acid, so I used something that was already a mixture of water, lime-juice and citric acid. (Limoncino from Bio Sonne here in Germany) I used as much as lemon juice and it worked out fine.
I also used Tonic Water, which is fluorescent under UV-light. The resulting mix tasted like a discusting chemical mix, because of the bitter and unusual taste of Tonic Water. Great! You can now taste the wasteland.
The normal recipe actually tastes good. Even with my modifications.
For the fluorescent label I used text markers that have vibrant colors. For me the text markers from Stabilo or Rex worked.
