Making a Stand | Vivienne Harr | Talks at Google
When Vivienne Harr was 8 years old she learned that there was child slavery in the world and was deeply troubled by it. So, she decided to make a lemonade stand every day until she raised $100,000 to end child slavery.
Two years later, she and her family have started “Make A Stand Lemon-aid” the first lemonade-stand lemonade in American history to become a commercial product. Make a Stand is a social impact brand that supports its 10-year-old founder's vision of a world where all 18 million enslaved children are free and safe.
Join us to hear Vivienne's uplifting story, encouraging everyone to make stand for the causes that matter to us. The talk will be followed by Q&A and a lemon-aid stand on the patio outside of Charlie's. (Free while supplies last.)
