Space Engineers is a voxel-based sandbox game set in space and on planets. Playable in singleplayer or multiplayer, it's an open-ended set your own goals affair where your principle antagonists are gravity and pirates. Can you build a mining and refining base that survives the onslaught of pirate gun drones, or will you take to the skies (or space) and engineer up a massive battleship and take the fight to them?

It was developed and published by Czech Republic independent developer Keen Software House. In 2013, the initial developmental release of the game joined the Steam early access program and since then it's received over 7 years of active development. By 2019 it had sold over 3.5 million copies!
