Making MONEY over the Winter | Time-Lapse SUPERCUT | Edgewater Sask | Farming Simulator 22
#farmingsimulator #farmingsimulator22 #fs22
In this Episode I'm going to do a time-lapse montage of the main events over the winter From January to March.
We started off purchasing a Case Steiger QuadTrac for $34,042 from the used vehicle section. The extra horsepower on the farm will now allow us to purchase larger equipment.
We sold 15,300 litres of cows milk for $21,568 at Brenda's fresh produce . We loaded up 6,000 litres of cheese with the forklift onto the back of the pick up and sold it at the restaurant for $22,064.
Moving into Jan 2… I forgot about the silage bales in the bottom field in the previous episode, so loaded them with the Anderson bale collector and sold them for $22,258 at the Livestock bale auction.
Then we brought 5040 litres of eggs to the restaurant that sold for $9,608. We finished up Jan 2 by mixing up a batch of TMR to feed the cows.
Moving onto Feb 1, we brought another 10540 litres of milk to Brenda's fresh produce while the price is still good and sold it for $14,901.
Then we moved onto March 1 and mixed up another batch of TMR to keep the cows fed. We loaded up another 4000 litres of cheese from the dairy production and sold it at the restaurant for $13,367.
The snow cleared away and we got back to some farm work and field prep for drilling crops in April. The first job on the farm for the new Case QuadTrac is to do some mulching and shallow cultivating using the 33ft Landoll tillage tool to prepare the seed bed for sowing.
We purchased 20200 litres of lime from the fertilizer shed for $3,693 and leased a lime spreader for $1,213 from the stores.
We concluded March and the episode by spreading lime onto the cultivated field as we try to maximize our crop yields by having the correct soil pH requirements. After the winter period, our bank balance is sitting at a healthy $173,844. We also have 131,477 Litres of Peas sitting in our grain bin to sell June when the price is at its best, and all the fabric from the spinnery production to sell in April giving us lots of options to expand and upgrade over the coming year.
I hope you enjoy the winter Time-Lapse montage from our farm on Edgewater Saskatchewan. If you do please leave a like on the episode and consider subscribing to the channel for more farming simulator content.
