I tried the new EA Sports WRC Season 2 RALLY, the Central European Rally. It featured a variety of cars and conditions. The 2017 Polo WRC on the full 32km stage; the BMW M1 ProCar Rally Group B RWD in dry conditions and autumn conditions; the Subaru Impreza 555 Gr.A on the wet and night stages; the Ford Puma Rally 1 on the fastest WRC stage; and the Seat CĆ³rdoba WRC on the snow stage.
Central European Rally - Free Update (Available December 14) At the beginning of the year, the FIA World Rally Championship visited a completely new location to provide drivers with an even greater challenge at the end of the season.
The Central European Rally was a unique challenge that spanned three different countries over four days. It was here that we celebrated the launch of EA SPORTSā¢ WRC, giving fans the opportunity to experience the game firsthand. EA SPORTS Ambassador Kalle RovanperƤ also claimed his second world title at this event.
The rally crossed the borders of Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, so the Codemasters team had plenty of inspiration to develop a challenging and fun route. In this update, players will experience the fast Czech roads in an asphalt challenge.
In EA SPORTSā¢ WRC, you'll travel over 32 kilometers through open rural areas where you can put your foot down. Unlike other asphalt races in this game, the road limits aren't defined by walls, barriers, and cliffs, so drivers can take risks and put a wheel or two in the grass to create more open courses. But don't stray too far, as there are fences, houses, bridges, and warehouses that will force you to control your steering to the limit.
Like the other 17 locations in the game, the Central European Rally will be available in all main modes (including Career mode) and in different weather conditions, times of day, and seasons.
Shortly after launch, we will also be hosting events at this location for Official WRC Clubs and Official Historic Clubs. Join the Clubs now to take on thousands of others in the game's top community championships.
Season 2 Rally Pass - New Items (from December 19)
EA SPORTS WRC update 1.4.0 also includes the launch of the new Season 2 Rally Pass*. Players can unlock a wide variety of customization items by earning XP in the game. There are 20 reward tiers in total.
Drivers can unlock up to 10 free items, plus an additional 5 with EA Play and another 15 with the VIP Rally Pass, for a total of 30 items throughout this season.
The NEW EA SPORTS WRC UPDATE includes the new Central European Rally š± , a new event on the WRC World Rally Championship calendar. ā” ļø ā” ļø I get to try it out for the first time with different cars and stations.
