Thanks to Shearman Kirkegaard and Peter Wilhemsen that finally dumped the Dallas DS5002 chip, some of the Gaelco games have been reworked to give us a better emulation that you will see on Mame 0.188.
Haze implemented some new code on World Rally 2 and seems to work good (i didn't tested all the stages but i have not seen any errors on the 3 games i played (only music is worse),and he fixed the steering of the car.
By the other hand TH Strikes Back (aka Thunder Hoop 2) seems to improve a bit but when you reach at the final of the stage emulation broke and you're force to die every game you play. mame Team has to study if the game is bad dumped or if it's a driver fault, we know this soon thanks to Darksoft,Charles MaCdonald and Brian Troha who send more PCBs to dump to have another copy of the games.

This is an awesome notice for all the emulation scene, and i give thanks to all the people involved and all the Mame Team. You guys are A-WE-So-ME
