The video doesnt show enough quality but these instuctions are in the excell file anyway
im just going through the motions


use this to pluck the latest roms set, for in your archives (227)

Make Sure your paths are correct in columns A&E
after updating your 227 roms
copy column F
paste into note pad
add pause
save as 227.bat file
create c:\backups folder (this is where the copied roms go)
double click the 228.bat you created in notepad
after its completed, copy your roms to your archive folder
since you took the roms from your latest full set, copy over any dupiicates as these
were updated.

I find this far more faster than having a rom
manager take all day to rebuild the sets

I always thought it would be simpler to drag
and drop the just the latest mame roms
into your backup archives, but you cant do that or you will end up messing up your rom sets. it would work with new roms that havent been added to mame until now, but the other roms that are already in the set would be written over with the same name.

whatever is missing look for the parent rom for merged sets(Done)
