Mame Bezel Art: In Depth Discussion Guide (For Creators Only)
0I made this video with the intention of showing the whole process, mistakes and all. Including lengthy discussion over how the planning stage goes, the methods, tips and tricks I use to get my ideas onto the screen, and the challenges I run into along the way.
I'm sure this video will get a lot of hate for being boring and too long. If I wanted to avoid that I could script the video, edit out mistakes, or speed up the tedious sections. However, that would not be an honest look at what really goes into the bezel making process. And only a long and boring real time honest look at the tedious nature of it all will be able to convey what really goes on behind the scenes.
And for those who really do want to make their own bezels, I don't want to leave anything out. Hopefully they'll walk away from this video with more confidence and knowledge. When you really see what it is that I'm doing, you'll be able to say to yourself "If he can do it, I can do it." And that was my goal for this video. It's not for everyone, but if I can help even one person build their understanding and confidence in bezel art then I've achieved my goal.
