The work done by Aaron Giles on the Cinematronics netlist audio allowed the open Mametesters bugs for Cinematronics' Rip Off to be closed too. This now has proper audio support, without the requirement of pre-recorded samples, or bugs associated with them.

If you're actually running this in MAME it looks better with HLSL turned on as you can make the bullets 'glow' a bit more than you see here, but -aviwrite doesn't natively pick up HLSL use and this video is more to demonstrate the audio improvements. Watch fullscreen at 1080p or you're not going to see much.
