Mame 4 Droid & The 139 Romset Video shows how to get a list of roms for your mame4droid 139 for Android Devices. The 1st 5 games in Mame [0.001] where it all started & some more classics that work in 139 3.40 Gb total (CC) Snapshots link below.


I've neglected this list for a while, got a new android device to play with.
So the Z1 Mame4Droid Favorites139u1 Playlists will be getting an overhaul
so far 526 top game & 51 bios's have been gone through for this video.
You will need to use programs below to make your own
its already in the excel file, going through the motions for how to
excel to open & edit
notepad++ for viewing playlists better & copying lists to paste into excel
notepad to make your 139roms.bat

Find yourself a copy of MameUI139 to view the rom set on a pc as Mame 139 didn't have a snapshot viewer yet

I like to keep it small as a bigger list will slow down mame4droid
and you don't have any pictures to look at, but you can do what you like, add more take some out.

This is the best for on the go emulation, tablet, phone, even 65 inch android tv, been using it for years. So I made a Mame139 ini file Z1 Mame4Droid Favorites139u1 Playlists that you can open up on a pc with "Mame 139" & view games supported, and an excel file you can grab the roms you want, & bios's skip all the non working, clones, mahjong, japanese. This saves high scores & can use cheats, bluetooth a ps4 controller to it, has touch screen support with over 2700 working games supported in 139, Rotate screen just flip tablet/phone

Needed
a 139 romset - chd's don't work so no need or are to slow check them out in the latest Mame
Mame4Droid.apk to play Mame139 on android devices, Current Version
1.15.6, may need an older version for older devices, not sure?
MameUI139 to view all the games in 139 on a PC. You can pick more games you may want to add to your Mame4Droid list

There are some differences on playing from a pc to android, some games work on a pc but not in mame4droid, not many.

I built the set on a pc, its easier than trying to do it without a keyboard on a tiny phone on android

The Bios's will show up in your mame4droid list as roms you can play but they are bios & not playable, I'm not sure which ones are exactly needed so put them all in so they are there for any games that may need them.
Example:neogeo.zip is needed for all neogeo games to work.

Mame 139 Snapshots for this set 12.mb, won't show in mame4droid but you can view them with a picture viewer from your android device, if you have room you can put them in your mame4droid/snap folder

For other android devices that have smaller memory without an sd card you may have to choose less roms so they fit.
