A Great system to revisit with Mame. With Top 101 + Ports & all the Favorites
The emulation of the Colecovision in Mame Is very good. Video shows how to use files

The Colecovision, my 2nd console, Way Better graphics, some of the ports are almost spot on
It came with Donkey Kong, the coolest game at the time. And if you had the Atari 2600 adapter the 2600 games were playable on the Colecovision, the 1st Emulator?
And Then there was the Turbo Steering Wheel & gas pedal Controller
One of my favorite early systems by far. Great games, lotsa fun, it went away to soon.

The Pacman version, was the best for it's time but I never got to see it till it was added to Mame
The Ghosts had eyes!, better than the Atari 400/800
Check out Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Pac Man, Q*bert, Pit Stop, PepperII, Lady Bug, All in the list
The emulation of the Colecovision in Mame Is very good, there are still some games that don't run yet
The Original Controllers sucked though. I don't think they got controllers right till the genesis came out,
and they weren't perfected till the ps4, which you can use in mame & map more buttons than the xbox.
you may have to push [F3] to try another game, if they get stuck in Mame

Google - search for
MAME EXTRAs full sets
you will need https://www.qbittorrent.org/ to download them

once you have them
place snap_SL.zip in a folder called snap_Sl rename the snap_sl.zip to snap.zip in the snap_sl folder-- should look like this mame/snap_SL/snap.zip
or
Mame/EXTRAs/snap_sl
Then from Mame set up your directories like below

From mame [tab]
configure options [Enter]
configure directories [Enter]
snapshots [Enter]
add folder [Enter]
select snap_sl [Enter] also add the snap while here
[tab] to set
return till you can "save configuration"

you can set them from the Mame/EXTRAs/snap_sl
or
mame/snap_SL/snap.zip
its up to you, where you put them

You can then continue setting up the rest of the EXTRAs stuff if you want, and follow same steps for anything else with _SL in it.

snap_SL is the software list snaps for Colecovision, Atari, Gameboy, Consoles Computers etc.
snap is the arcade versions
but mame only looks for snap.zip
thats why you need to put them in a snap_SL directory & rename snap_SL.zip to snap.zip inside the snap_SL folder
