This version of the Magatama is actually easier in some ways for Team Plus Disk. The main difference between this version and the previous one is that Futo and Mamizou now have more to work with. Futo can access more of her stacking gimmick, while Mamizou can use Astral Dominae and the Transcendent Subclass. You can see for yourself how great Mamizou is, though Futo is no slouch once her stacks are built up.

This version of the Magatama also doesn't have Black Universe, which makes things easier, though it still has Half Moon Slash. It's an annoying move that halves the health of the front row. Even Akyuu can't really protect your front row if the boss uses it 2 to 3 times in a row. The best counter strategy I had was to use Tokiko's Non-Neumann Systems. It's a group heal that restores more HP the lower your front row's MP is. It's definitely useful in specific situations, though Reimu and Rumia are much easier to use most of the time. At least Tokiko got to do something?
