Choices. They are one of the biggest masquerades in all of gaming. Even Steam has a "Choices Matter" option to tick when searching for games to play. Man Of Medan, from the Dark Pictures Anthology, is one of such games that claims your choices will matter. After completing the game, we decided we would put Man Of Medan to the test, and see how the story unfolds when we make no choices. At all. Player Select Plays looooves choices so it was tough! The only choices we make are to advance the story.


There was a running commentary track, mostly lambasting how little hd changed from our lets play already uploaded, but we decided in the end to just the let the story run its course. Needless to say, this no choices no commentary run of Man Of Medan put a bit of a damper on our enjoyment, as we didn't see a whole ton of differences. But that's not to say choices don't matter entirely, as there are scenes and moments we missed during the Player Select Plays that could've been different, had we made different choices. But those moments are too far apart and far too scarce. Choices Matter isn't a total fad in this game, but it's very, very close.
