So I went out of town to my parents house Saturday just in time to escape some crazy weather. We're talking floods, slips, road closures, giant freaking holes in the road you name it. I figured I'd try and get some footage of the Palmerston North area so people could see what all the fuss is about and (for those few grumpy people online moaning about road closures) why so many roads leading in and out of Palmy and Wanganui are closed off. And, of course like the 2004 floods this may become a semi-historical event.
