Manor Lords Gameplay | EP04 - Developing Eichenhau
9This weeks Manor Lords starts with an early Bandit Camp raid and a claim on some new lands! Which sets us up moving forward to have three settlements up and running. Which should be enough to start funding an army to take on our enemy lord and steal some land from them!
We have a lot to do though, with some issues to sort out in Zweiau and the start of our expansion into Eichenhau, there's a lot of micromanagement and back and forth between the two settlements as we look to resolve the issues in our main settlement and start developing our second. So the early claim of Immenreuth was simply to stop our enemy lord getting their grubby hands on it!
My focus on Zweiau leaves Eichenhau vulnerable as winter approaches, but we do weather the storm and start making inroads into the new settlement, setting up burgage and basic necessities just as winter bites hard. With our fuel and timber issues solved in Zweiau, we're then able to start looking at ways to improve that settlement, by planning fields of barley to provide goods for the malthouse, then eventually a brewer for the tavern.
We finish with a final trip to Eichenhau to expand some burgage and bring in some food and more settlers to provide workers for the new jobs that will be created as we continue to expand!
