Manor Lords Gameplay | EP05 - Developing Zweiau
1In this weeks Manor Lords our focus shifts to Zweiau, with some major developments happening in our first town. With food and fuel shortages to sort out in the early portion of the episode, there's a lot of work to be done.
We also bolster Eichenhau further, it is likely that it will become a major food producer for the rest of the kingdom, so we will aim to keep the population small. We get a church, trading post and a few other production buildings up and running as we look to gather resources for a Manor in this town.
Back in Zweiau, micro management gets the better of me and I forget to employ a family at my malthouse, delaying the production of ale for my tavern and setting development back. But once this is rectified, ale starts to flow and zweiau gets ready for upgrades and a new development point which will be put into deep mining. Zweiau will become my main production of military weaponry and will fund my own army to take on the enemy baron!
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but it is briefly snuffed out by a bandit attack, which in my hasty attempts to solve I destroy an entire mercenary squad and my own retinue deserts me, it is clear that the push towards a military power needs to happen imminently.
Luckily, after losing the battle, the bandits just set up camp in Immenreuth, giving me a target for my new army next episode!
Once the dust settles, we finish off those major developments in Zweiau to prepare for next episode. Where we finally start producing military equipment to claim the rest of the map!
