Doing yet another gear video because I liberated a while back, and I wanted to show off some sliiight gains. Marginal but necessary, no? Got a new cooldown hat (mandatory for Dual Blade) too!

In this video, I ramble a bit about the uncertainty about Global MapleStory's future. My general conclusion is that the future of GMS is very volatile and unpredictable. For all we know, the game could die in a few years. In my opinion, don't dump too much money into this game - whether that be in Reboot with a new Surprise Style Box rotation, or in REG server where you buy cubes to perfect your gear (because they might change the system by this summer). As long as you're enjoying the game and are grateful to be well developed in your maple journey, there's no need to crave for more and more superficial [pixelated] assets. Like, ahem, that new sexy SSB rotation that just dropped. CONTROL YOURSELF, KEVIN. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Nah but seriously, I'm trying not to spend too much on MapleStory anymore. I dumped like 100k NX into Philosopher books and tried to get a Firestarter or a BoD (Breath of Divinity) and absolutely got my delusional dreams shat on. Ouch. Like, hear me out bro, I'm financially stable, but as long as you're able to clear bosses with ease, I don't see the sense of urgency to dump so many eggs into one basket for a MMORPG that may die in a few years. Not praying on its downfall, but who the heck knows what will happen to our beloved mushroom game by the year 2030? Only time will tell. Always be in this game (and any MMORPG) for the long run.
