If Nexon wants to get rid of me, imma go out with a bang.

The game is far from perfect but I stuck with it for 5 years because I found solace in the grind. The game is actually a shit game but those of us who played are masochists and love the pain because it challenges us in ways we never thought we could be challenged. But Nexon doesn’t give a shit about us and only designs systems to punish us and milk us.

This game allowed me to stray from reality. It was a distraction that made me forget about life and growing up. I always had something to do and a reason to get up in the morning.

I had no drive in life. I had no goals. I had no ambition. I had no passion.

This game gave me all of that. I would set too many goals for myself then remind myself to focus on one thing at a time. I would play my own way, be too ambitious, and succeed. Being F2P, I would make the impossible possible, one day at a time. I challenged myself constantly and found new ways to grow.

I made it a point to not buy packages to progress and to not cheat. Because whether it’s spending money or going against the ToS, it would speed up the game - and why would I want to do that when I want to play this game forever?

Multiple accounts made things possible being F2P and it also slowed things down because I started funding mains on each account. Most of what an alt account made went back into the alt account. I was running an empire of characters which I took care of each and every day and dressed all cute and pretty. It allowed me to play all by my lonesome - dungeons, parties, guilds - I could do it all by myself.

If I really did something wrong, Nexon needs to tell me and the whole playerbase. I don’t care about getting unbanned on 2 alt accounts, but people should know what the limits of the game are and what they can or cannot do so they don’t get randomly perma banned too for not following some unwritten rules. I don’t know if I’m going to wake up one day to find more accounts banned. I’m scared every time I see a pop up on the launch screen.

I lost about 6 months of work on my 2 alt accounts that got banned. 1 lvl 40 staff I was trying to necro(originally from my retired BW) and I didn’t get a chance to use the lucky 2% mastercraft scroll from M4U. 2 old lvl 40 archer gears from my main that were just sitting in my inventory and I repurposed for my new marksman that was going to get to 200 in a few days. A 27? SF ancient xbow (from my retired MM) I was gonna use as radiant exalt fodder after my MM made a necro xbow. 2 CD warrior emblems I was building for my future adele (I made that whole account to main adele - good thing I didn’t transfer some other CD emblems yet). And a lot of high sf non emblem mythics, useful for building up new characters or turning into radiant exalts. I never sold nodes on these accounts (was saving for mains on that account), never funneled mesos back. They were mainly extras to my sf/af parties so that I could keep my parties going for longer. My homes had 300+ decor - I worked really hard to level alts to 150 to maximize home coins. I did events on them too - it was just part of my routine. About 6k crystals that I had earned from GFB and split to those accounts.
It’s not a huge loss because I built everything up from nothing, but if I were to continue getting banned on my other accounts because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I would continue losing everything I worked hard for. And it's better to just quit before I allow Nexon to do that.
