Maplevania is a beat'em up set in the universe of Castlevania, where players can choose between three different characters to take to Dracula's castle and end his reign of terror once and for all.
The name 'Maplevania' comes from the visual style of the game, which mirrors the style of Maple Story games. In other words, all characters have a "super deformed" style, with big heads and big eyes, but small bodies.
