0This is probably the Mappy game most people are familiar with, but it definitely wasn't the first. With more space to roam, it's a lot more forgiving than the original but not by much. You still have to think on your feet and you probably need to be ready to use the items like I wasn't. The game is so fast paced that you really need to be comfortable with the controls, layout, and enemy behavior or items will be extra mental effort you can't spare.
The stage layout kind of reminds me of Disneyland, and I wonder if that's intentional.
