Mari 4.7 | Overview
Enjoy Mari 4.7, with its new procedural mask workflow for rapid applications of mesh map driven procedural mask presets. This extended workflow along with new custom procedurals allows artists to author, share and use procedural presets to quickly fill the look of a channel and mask layers.
Discover a more efficient way to access your large libraries of presets with the improved Shelf palette. With a refreshed UI, artists can enjoy an optimized workflow, along with easy access to all content with extensive filtering.
Plus, with a new shader mode, artists can view materials in isolation without having to change any layer visibility settings, allowing artists to fine-tune their Materials within a full lighting response context.
We’ve also extended the Post Process feature to Bake Point Export Streaming. Look development artists can now stream Mari texture data directly into Katana render engine’s native formats, allowing for faster and more efficient iterations of painted data that feeds into a Katana Network Material.
Experience the latest advancements in look development with increased efficiency and interoperability thanks to Mari 4.7— giving artists all they need to continue creating awe-inspiring textures and more.
