SPOILER WARNING: This is a video exploring the second route of the game, so we will be skipping over a large amount of details that are crucial to the understanding of the game. In order to get the full context for the series, and to gain a better understanding of the game and my playstyle in general, I highly recommend that you go back and watch my first playthrough of the game.

Welcome back to OMORI!

In today's episode, we finally end the madness that is OMORI. Today, we dive deeper into the nightmare that is Black Space. Today, we venture into the madness that is lurking behind the curtain, and I gotta be honest... I am still not completely sure what all of it means. All the more reason to come back to this game at a later date. But for now, we are done playing.

This will be the last OMORI episode for a while. Apologies for the very confusing ending, but unfortunately, this is how the alternate route naturally plays out. I suppose one thing that can be taken from this narrative is that Omori, the character, has fully lost themselves to their madness, and is forever trapped in an endless cycle of nonsensical noise. How this impacts the particular ending we get, I cannot say for certain. If any of you have any thoughts, please let me know in the comments below.

For now, that is it. I plan on coming back to this game to discuss a few of the many topics contained within this game, as it is a goldmine of topics, ripe for the discussion. From little things like talking about your feelings to big things like the societal fracture of the family structure, this game breaches a wide range of subjects. I know I could not possibly cover them all, but I certainly wish to try. Let me know which psychological topics you would like to see me do a deep dive on in the future. I hope to some day connect with the wider OMORI fandom and see what y'all make of this, so please share this with your friends if you think they would be interested in this kind of material.

WARNING: This game deals with sensitive subjects such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide. There are also some sections later on in the game that have bright flashing lights, so please be mindful of that is you have epilepsy or some other type of photosensitivity.

Because this is a potentially triggering game, I will be providing information to the National Suicide Prevention Helpline down below. Please use this recourses if you are ever feeling overwhelmed/uncomfortable. Know that you have the option to talk with me too, if you so choose. I am not a licensed counselor/therapist/psychiatrist, but I have plenty of first-hand experience with depression, anxiety, self-harm, and suicide, so if you need to talk to someone, I am here to listen.

Starting in July of 2022, the Suicide Prevention Hotline will be 988. The old number will still be active, but due to the recent mental health crisis, these are the changes that are being implemented.

I will also be putting my email if you would prefer to speak with me directly. I ask that you do not use the comments to share your problems/concerns, so that we can maintain discretion and confidentiality in our talks.

Pretty soon it will be October, and while I won't be playing this game then, I hope to be playing some other scary games soon. Stick around for when those happen.

Thank you everyone so much for watching. I hope that you are doing well, and taking this series at your own pace. Remember to drink lots of water and take care of yourself. Let's have some fun together!

Love,
Richard
