During my previous trip to Singapore, we barely touched going to Marina Bay Sands also known as the hotel with the ship on top!
However this time we were determined to have a good look around and we spent some time going through the main foyer, food court and shops. We stumbled upon the digital light canvas, a large interactive circle with colourful lights based on your movement.
As it was another hot day, we spent only a minimal amount of time outside and decided to forego walking along the double helix bridge. Instead we grabbed lunch at the good court and checked out the DC Super Heroes shop and cafe which was filled with merchandise and life scale statues of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Catwoman.
After that we checked out the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest - two totally enclosed structures similar to greenhouses that had a myriad of different plants, flowers and amazing flora arranged in different exhibits for the visitors to check out.
We ended the day by heading to Gardens By The Bay which again I had missed out on last time. Consisting of tall flower like structures that reach up from the ground and stand over the trees they are visible from the hotel and surrounds. We walked through the park grounds as a light rain came down and then grabbed dinner and waited around for the Garden Rhapsody, a light and music show set to popular movie themes.
