It was only day 3 of our trip and we were already feeling the effects of the weather, so we decided to take a bit of a break.
Day 4 for us was Tuesday the 1st of October and we decided to hit Sentosa Island again, this time via the cable cars at Faber Park Cable Car Station atop Mount Faber. Some great views of the Singapore skyline and surrounds were had on the way to Sentosa Island.
After we disembarked, we arrived at the Sentosa Station at the end of the Mount Faber line and then caught another cable car from Imbiah Lookout Station to the Merlion Station on the Sentosa line. We eventually made it to the Sentosa Merlion Statue, an iconic half fish half lion which is the spiritual icon of Singapore. To make thing even more confusing we then caught the monorail from Imbiah Station to Waterfront Station and yhen walked to the Adventure Cove Water Park.
This place wwas awesome and featured a wave pool, Big Bucket Tree house, and circular ring pool which went around the whole park. The wifey borrowed the GoPro for a spot of snorkelling to check out some picturesque coral and fish while I spent some more time in the wave pool with the family.
After that we finally decided to leave and head to the aquarium which had some amazing fish and massive tanks bigger than any others I had ever seen before. Some unique and colourful sea creatures were on display and there was even a section where you could touch a starfish.
