Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is one of those RPGs that I absolutely enjoy. Sure, it is the first in the series and Partners in Time definitely improved, but the first always has a place in my list of favorite games. The series as a whole has always been enjoyable to me and one day I will finish Dream Team and Paper Jam. But, as a new game in the series was released recently and having finished the first three games in the series, I decided to play the new one first.
Even though AlphaDream dissolved after the remakes of Superstar Saga and Bowser's Inside Story were received poorly, it was a shock to learn that a new game would be released. From the trailers, it seemed like it would have the spirit of the games, but just with a very different art style and (for the first time) not on a handheld exclusive console. Let's see how Nintendo and Acquire were able to handle the series with Brothership.
