October 11th passed recently and according to a calendar located within the second volume of Nintendo Power Mario's Birthday is on October 11th. I wanted to take this moment of celebration and highlight an independently made Mario game from 1994 made for MS-DOS. This game which was made as a test to practice programming ended up getting circulated widely throughout the internet and shareware disks. Even Tiger Woods was seen playing it on a segment on TV! It really is a fun and great Mario game that I have a lot of memories with.
