R.I.P. EMUPARADISE - AN ATTACK ON EMULATION - Game Galaxy
227Due to Nintendo's crusade to remove their roms from the entire internet we have lost one of the best sources for roms and emulation. Emuparadise which did NOT have NIntendo first party titles on its website for years has decided to remove ALL of their Roms from the website. The owner of Emuparadise wrote "It's not worth it for us to risk potentially disastrous consequences. I cannot in good conscience risk the futures of our team members who have contributed to the site through the years."
This is an absolute shame and loss to the preservation and celebration of classic video gaming. I for one thing emulation and roms actually help IMPROVE and BOLSTER sales when things like the NES classic and SNES classic get released.
It's a sad day indeed. Rest in Peace Emuparadise.
