Mario Gives Up #26 – (Incoherent Babbling Because Doc Cannot Words)
2After what I’ve gone through, though, can you blame me for being a bit tongue-tied? Everything from Video 23 to the end was recorded in the same day…that’s a lot of stuff to endure.
Levels:
Projectile Fortress – Dunce’s last stand, and it’s…a pretty freaking nasty one! It’s not just that there are projectiles all over the place, but that they’re mostly indestructible! Getting to the midpoint on one life was a minor miracle, but there are no miracles in the second half. Dunce has some extra hits and new tricks which make him considerably tougher, especially with the stage hazards. I manage to off him anyway.
Purple Coin-Warning – The penultimate stage is actually a bit of a breather. It’s also got a secret exit despite being a yellow level. Still a breather.
Bowser’s Castle (part 1) – It’s not exactly the best start…there’s a lot of the game’s most frustrating hazards to contend with in Bowser’s Castle, and design that isn’t exactly the friendliest to the player. The fence-climbing part feels especially onerous! And this is only midway through…
