Mario Kart 7 - Citra (3DS Emulator)
9I saw a video on YouTube recently (on the always informative and entertaining channel of Simply Austin) that mentioned about the fact that Citra, the Nintendo 3DS Emulator, has had some big improvements recently and can now run games much faster. So I decided to give this updated version a try and here's the result: Mario Kart 7 running on the latest version of it between 20 - 30 fps. To put this into context, the last video I uploaded of Citra, (albeit with an older GPU) was running NSMB 2 at literally 1 fps - I ended up speeding up that video by x60 to show what it would look like running full speed in.
I can't get the Grand Prix mode in to work in Citra for some reason, the game always hangs just before a race, so here's a quick go on Time Trial in real time speed.
