Deluxe online definitely isn't off to a good start, and the incidents in this video are a big part of the reason why. Players continuously get hit by dragged or rotating items that are very far away from them! This is because hits are determined by the item holder's position - if a collision happens on their screen, the hit happens. But, as shown, I can run into people's dragged items and not get hit very easily simply because they aren't in the same position in which I see them.

But the point is, they really need to revert it to the Wii U's hit detection system - laggy players existed there, but it wasn't this bad.
