Mario Kart Super Circuit (GBA) gameplay
3Returning to Mario Kart, this time, I am doing a game I haven't played in over a decade (due to my old copy being lost), Super Circuit, released on the Game Boy Advance in 2001. The third game of the iconic series, it resembles the previous N64's Mario Kart 64 but also takes the cues of the original SNES game. It also is the first Mario Kart to have remake tracks of an older title and the last game to use the original rules of lives and disqualification of 5th place or below. The cups I am doing are Special Cup and all of the original SNES courses (because I am a 1990s kid).
Because I'm playing on a keyboard, I'm restricted to only 50cc rather than 150cc and the controls from this are freaking horrible. Nevertheless, I did my best. Had this been done in a real GBA, it's more likely I'd handle the higher difficulties like the other Mario Kart games.
