Custom Mario Kart's Overview: 'Spike Desert is a desert-themed custom track featuring the Spike enemies from Super Mario 3D World. SpyKid created the model of the track, it was one of the author's first models and Pepo 2000 wanted to create a custom track from that. He added extra stuff and did the KCL, KMP and BRRES.'

The track is made by Pepo 2000 and SpyKid. It has a desert theme. The track is complete with working minimap and CPU AI. The intro is very short. The track is simple to understand because the track is wide. There are spiked balls, Spikes and Swoopers. The background is desert-like, it contains a pyramid with a Spike on it and a giant spike ball can be seen. Overall this is a great track.
