Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Couch Potatoes! Today RedVacktor and James are playing the top five maps in Mario Maker, starting with number five, House of 15 Challenges! Red tries to start it off, but he’s terrible and can’t get past the first jump, so the controller is passed to James. James is a rock star and nails the jump, but then he’s less of a rock star and has some trouble. He makes it eventually and approaches the next room’s wall cubbies, which he’s pretty good at, but he needs Red’s help for the second jump. Red makes it and then fails, then makes it again and fails harder. Back to James, who can’t figure out how to appropriately utilize a vine, until Red realizes you’re not even supposed to use the vine and they move on. In the next room they have to jump across falling platforms and James can’t do it, so Red takes over. He finds a little shortcut and makes it much farther, but runs out of time and gets them sent right back to the first room. Red speed runs it back to where they were, and James takes over and gets through to the next challenge, which he passes with ease. After James fails the next room, Red takes over, but he also sucks – James tries again and eventually gets through, and they find themselves with 90 seconds to complete the entire level. James fails, Red tries, and they run out of time and give up. Onto number four, Puzzling Pictures! But first, James knocks all the paintings off the wall. Red finds their first key and decides to go on and hunt down every last key – not even Alicia Keys will be safe from Red. On to James, who can’t find a key and hey neither can Red, so they give up like the losers they are and move on to number three, Mission: Impossible. Red infiltrates the Goomba ranks, but ends up blindly following his brethren to the place where all good Goombas go to rest. Forever. James takes over and proves himself to be exponentially better than Red, but then he gets to a level where he must race the level itself and loses. Red takes the controller and succeeds where James failed, and he gets all the way to the finish.
