Mario Party 3: Spiny Desert
0The next board I play is Spiny Desert, this takes place in a desert inhabited by Pokeys, and there is the quicksand area where if you land on a Happening Space, you can get sucked in and taken to the other side. The creature in the sand is known as Arijigokun, which is confirmed on the Japanese website for Mario Party 3, and does not have a confirmed English name, the northern pit is darker than the southern one.
The character that I play as for this board is Daisy, and I choose Mario, Yoshi, and Wario for the CPU players. The theme for this board is that there are two Millennium Stars, and as stated by Tumble, one of them is a mirage, and if you visit the mirage Millennium Star, he will disappear, the real one is the one that gives you the Star, and if you picked up a Magic Lamp, you do get taken to the real Millennium Star. Action Time for this board has you jump over some cactus, and if they miss the jump, they bounce back over to the cactus sign.
Some characters have favourite items, Daisy's is the Cellular Shopper, Mario's favourite item is Golden Mushroom, Yoshi has Warp Block, and Wario has the Dueling Glove for his favourite item.

I do like some of the minigames that appear in this video, while Mario Party 3 isn't one of my favourite games in the Mario Party series, well compared to Mario Party 2, as I do find that the AI tends to do very good in minigames, there are some that I do like, for example, Eatsa Pizza is one of my favourite minigames that came from this game, and there are some that I like, including Storm Chasers, River Raiders, and Popgun Pick-Off. I don't mind Mario Party 3 as a game, it's just that I prefer Mario Party 2 out of the Nintendo 64 Mario Party games, but anyway, here is a list of minigames that made their first appearance on this board.
