Mario Party 5 really didn't introduce anything to the Mario Party formula that was too revolutionary, but it's still a solid entry in the Mario Party library. One of the coolest elements of this game is the reappearance of the Star Spirits from Paper Mario 64. It's also one of two Mario Party games Scott has a lot of nostalgia with considering how much he played the mini-games for this game at the Toys R Us kiosk as a youngster.
