41Welcome to my walkthrough of Mario's Nightmare 64 hack by Apioeus. In this video, I show off how to get all 7 stars in Course 8 Lost in the Sands, which are at these times:
Fiery Pathway (Vanish Cap Required) 0:08
Top Stars in the Temple (Vanish Cap Required) 2:09
Water in the Desert? (Vanish Cap Required) 4:48
Opening the Cannon + Conquer the Pyramid (Vanish Cap Required) 6:41
Super Duper Secret Switch (Wing & Vanish Cap Required) 10:38
Sandy Red Coins (Wing & Vanish Cap Required) + 100 Coins 14:25
You will need at least 40 stars in order to access this stage.
Comments: Easily the worst stage in the game as well as one of the hardest.
Star 1: The only tricky jump was to get onto the grating, but everything else wasn't too bad.
Star 2: I literally got this star on my first try (I'm not saying this star is the easiest, I'm just saying I got lucky).
Star 3: The flag pit was the hardest part about this star, but that's it.
Star 4: Not too difficult.
Star 5: I choked a lot, but it isn't terrible.
Star 6 + 100 Coins: I got this star on my 3rd try (I could've gotten it on my first try, but I choked to a pokey at 92 coins). Also around 20:11, the video kind of buffers a bit. That wasn't me using a save state but rather fraps stupidly buffering the video.
Also, I like to thank Mariocrash and Stan for discovering shortcuts that make this stage way easier than it would of without them.
