A game that drew a lot of fans at PAX East was MARK OF THE NINJA, the latest game from Klei Entertainment. This being the Vancouver based indie studio famous for the SHANK series.

Sticking with with both 2D platforming and 2D hand draw animation, MARK OF THE NINJA is something rather different, at least from upfront confrontation of the SHANK games. It's been a while since there's been a strong ninja based game, and in going back to the 2D roots of classics like Shinobi and Saboteur, we really think this team is onto something.

Giving us a very thorough commentary of this never before seen level, is lead designer Nels Anderson. The length of this level (even with Nels showboating skills with our protagonist), takes over 7mins, whereas this is more a highlights reel. Time compressed so to speak. This was sourced by our crack team over at IndieGameCave and thanks to them, you can watch this entire level being played with yet more in-depth commentary from Nels.
