Inconsequential -
*Clickity Clack* the door knob speaks,
the creak of the door hinge.
The latch, metal on metal, sound rings
we do not think, for it is inconsequential.
How the hands that crafted this piece,
the brass, the metal and tumblers
made by human hands,
we do not think, for it is inconsequential.
These are people, not things, those who make
have families, live, breathe and move,
it is their craft, and they are people, connected but
we do not think, for it is inconsequential.
Those who live in the moment,
do not truly fathom the moment
each piece, part and thing cannot be considered
we do not think, for it is inconsequential.
We live, breathe and move, our problems are profound
theirs are not, for we do not think,
but other lives certainly are not, inconsequential.
One piece to another, like gears in a mechanism.
Thanks again for watching and stay frosty!
