Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - Arcade with Ryu/Morrigan (Very Easy)
To think that this controversial entry in the 'Marvel vs. Capcom' franchise would turn half a decade old this year... And yes, it's been too long since I last played this game, so rustiness in skill was inevitable (hence the reason why I've decided to tone down the difficulty to the absolute lowest level). Also, hooray for high resolutions and smooth framerates after all this time!
If you ask me, I feel that the gameplay aspect of this particular title is its strongest suit, but when it comes to other aspects such as character roster and overall presentation, it clearly falls short, especially in comparison to previous 'Marvel vs. Capcom' titles (and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way).
Furthermore, I initially wasn't too fond of Morrigan Aensland as a character (especially since she appeared in pretty much every crossover game ever which involves Capcom to some degree - save for a handful of titles such as 'SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos' and 'Capcom Fighting Evolution' - despite not having a brand new entry in her home series since 1997), but ever since 'Capcom Fighting Collection' (which, by the way, includes all five original arcade titles in the 'Darkstalkers'/'Vampire' series) became a thing, I slowly but surely warmed up to the Scottish succubus. So yeah, I like her now. (Oh, and lest we forget about that infamous sprite which had been used in way too many fighting games back in the day.) It also helps that she's a relatively easy character to use, just like Ryu. Speaking of... I mean, what else can I say about the definitive SHOTO? He's practically Mr. Street Fighter by this point, what with him appearing in every single Capcom Versus game ever and such. (And yes, SF's 35th anniversary is still a thing this year, in addition to 'Street Fighter 6' shaping up to be a solid hype maker for next year.)
Finally, in case you haven't noticed, I only used the Space and Mind Stones in this particular arcade run (because their respective colors, blue and yellow, also happen to be Capcom's signature colors).
So yeah, 'Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite' was a thing, and it happened.
