Chris and Sam team up with Rocket Raccoon and Chris Redfield to take down an XGardian and Ultron Drone in order to free Thanos from his prison. Ultron Sigma tears through the heroes but Thor and Spencer get a chance to duel the combined villain until he uses the Reality Stone to turn the tide of battle, corrupting Thor. With a quick reaction by Doctor Strange our heroes narrowly escape back to Stark Tower with Thanos in tow.
Captain America and Dante want to release Thanos from neuro-inhibitor shackles and mask, disregarding the fact that he will regain his psionic abilities if they do so. Knowing this, Iron Man and Chun-Li protest and the four do battle. Doctor Strange undoes Thanos' prison garb and it is revealed that Ultron Sigma successfully turned Thor to his side. To gain their trust, Thanos reveals the locations of the remaining four Infinity Stones, and teams of heroes are dispatched to find them and attempt to save Thor from the Sigma Virus.
